Who is Rex Landis?

Rex Warren Landis is a multi instrumentalist, songwriter, and engineer that has been working in the music industry for over ten years.

Rex started his music journey playing in the church and continued his musical studies at Point Loma Nazarene University in which he graduated in May 2022 with a degree in Commercial Music Composition and Production. He has been in a plethora of indie bands throughout the years and has toured around the nation.

Rex relocated to Nashville Tennessee and works as a NSAI songwriter, and as a FOH and tracking Engineer for Opry Entertainment at venues such as Ole Red Nashville, the Ryman Auditorium and the Grand Ole Opry with acts such as Lainey Wilson, Blake Shelton, Jon Pardi, Keith Urban, Cody Johnson and Avery Anna. He continues to work as a producer, engineer and session musician. He is an active member of BMI, and his first single “Ghost” released on April 5th, 2023. He is also a member of a group of musicians that host a concert series on Music Row Nashville called Songs and Stories.
